About the Balkan ORL-HNS
Balkan ORL-HNS is a peer reviewed, diamond open access (no fees are required from authors or readers), online-only journal published by the Balkan Association of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head-and Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS).
Balkan ORL-HNS is a triannually journal that is published in English in January, May, and September.
Balkan ORL-HNS is managed according to those guidelines of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE):

Aims, Scope, and Audience
Balkan ORL-HNS aims to publish studies of the highest scientific and clinical value, and encourages the submission of high-quality research that advances the understanding and treatment of all aspects and sub-specialties of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. Balkan ORL-HNS also encourages researchers to submit their replication studies and the studies with negative results on common diseases in the region, which are important for the science to develop.
Balkan ORL-HNS covers a wide range of topics related to otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, including otology, rhinology, laryngology, head and neck, otoneurology, audiology, speech and swallowing pathologies, sleep apnea, facial plastics and multidisciplinary research with related sciences. This may include studies on the effectiveness of different treatments, new diagnostic tools or techniques, and novel approaches to preventing or managing ORL-HNS conditions.
Balkan ORL-HNS publishes research articles, case reports, reviews, and letters to the editor. Unpublished old studies, which results have been compared with the current literature, may also be considered for publication.
The target audience of the journal includes healthcare professionals, physicians, and researchers who are interested in or working in the otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, and related disciplines in the Balkan region as well as in the world.
